It's the Green Nakey Monster!

Look out! here comes the Green Nakey Monster! AGGHHH! RUN!
Jackson broke loose after bath time and ran around the house giggling and laughing and yelling as the "Green Nakey Monster," you have to watch out for those things, they'll get you...

It has been busy the past couple of weeks in the Jones household, and I'm not just talking about Mommy and Daddy.... Jackson has been busy growing up.

Amidst all of my assignments and reading, there has been a first haircut...

... and an airplane ride to North Carolina (to visit Aunt Heather and Uncle D)...

... and the daily comings and goings of laundry, dishes, and playtime fun...

... our little boy has changed a lot over the past few weeks.

He is saying more words and saying them a little more clearly, such as "apple, shoes, mamma, da-doo, socks, car clock, dog, hungry, ice cream (etc.)...",

and he is climbing everything!

He is such a joy, full of laughter and smiles.

He misses his momma on the weekends and looks for her when he gets up.

Our nighttime routine continues to get longer as we have to have kisses all around, nose kisses all around, and then family kisses, and then hugs and songs and "bye-bye's" all the way out the door. Then he blares the music on his Rainforest mobile and talks to the lighted moving rainforest critters that are probably his best friends.

I know this is mainly just a gushing Dad session, but I just love our precious little boy and want to share his growth with you as most of you can't be as near as we would all like. I hope that you are all doing well and looking forward to the beautiful spring. - Jonathan
